I recently picked up "A natural history of Human emotions" by Stuart Walton. As an anthro major, I definately recommend it to anyone interested in the subject - the book is so incredibly diverse in its references that it's a shame not to read it.
Btw, if anyone has read it - any recommendations on what to read next? I pretty much exhausted all the books I found at Borders/B&N.
Thanks.

Mon, November 26, 2007 - 2:44 PMmy two favorite ethnographies at the moment are elizabeth povinelli's /the cunning of recognition: indigenous alterities and the making of austrialian multiculturalism/ and adriana petryna's /life exposed: biological citizenship after chernobyl/. they're rather hard, but i take them to be sort of at the state of the art.
